Hero MotoCorp has set some hearts racing from the moment they partnered with Erik Buell Racing. Last year they had showcased this hydrogen fuel cell concept vehicle in Auto Expo Event 2014. Now that Erik Buell has filed for bankruptcy and Hero has bought the company still keeping Erik Buell on its payroll together with the fact that the Indian Electric Bike scene has been simmering has kept up hopes of this hydrogen cell bike or even electric bike making it to the production lines.

This Hero iON bike will feature an advanced Li-Air batteries and also super capacitors for smooth energy needs while braking and acceleration. This iON can generate the maximum speed of about 300 kmph but its idle speed is about 160 kmph. Its Length is 1962 mm, width is 431 mm and height is 955 mm. This bike will provide the wheelbase of 1388 mm and the ground clearance of this iON is 203 mm and the weight of this iON is 100 kg.

The Hero iON can able to accelerate from 0-100 in just 5 seconds and it can reach 300 kms in a single charge. The iON will feature handle grip finger controls, electronic sensors, vehicle collision detection which makes easy for the rider to control this iON smoothly. Both front and rear brakes of this iON will be Electronically controlled regenerative with ABS and collision avoidance. The iON will have an integrated electric motor with hubless model which is quite impressive.

Price in India is expected to be Rs. 75,000.
